Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you use Mas0nk’s apps and related services, including Balance and MovieNight. They explain the rules for using the service and do not remove rights you have under Australian law.

Publisher details to complete before release: “Mas0nk” is the brand shown on the supplied website. Apple’s minimum EULA terms require publisher identity and contact details. Add the publisher’s legal name, address, telephone number and monitored email below before submitting.
1. About these terms
In these terms, “Mas0nk”, “we”, “us” and “our” means the person or entity that owns and operates the relevant Mas0nk app. “You” means the person using it. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
By downloading, accessing or using an app, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian to use the app. You must also comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app, including your mobile network or internet provider terms.
2. Using Balance
Balance is an expense-splitting tool. You may use it for your own personal, lawful purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the amounts, names and other information you enter, and for checking calculations before relying on them.
Balance helps record and calculate shared expenses. It does not move money, collect debts, provide financial, tax or legal advice, or verify that another person owes or has paid an amount. Arrange and settle payments independently with the people involved.
You must not misuse the app, interfere with its operation or security, use it unlawfully, or infringe another person’s rights. Do not upload information about another person unless you have a lawful basis and any permission required to do so.
2. Using MovieNight
MovieNight is an iOS app for tracking films and TV shows, organising group watchlists and planning movie nights. You may use it for your own personal, lawful purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the events, content, contacts, locations and other information you enter, and for checking classifications and content before relying on them.
MovieNight helps find movies and plan events, with data from TMDB and other sources. It does not grant ownership, copyright permissions, access to streaming and other services, or any other legal allowances or licences to exhibit content.
You must not misuse the app, interfere with its operation or security, use it unlawfully, or infringe another person’s rights. Do not upload information about another person unless you have a lawful basis and any permission required to do so.
3. Your content
You retain any rights you have in information you enter. You give us permission to use that information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and support the app in accordance with the Privacy Policy. This does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
4. Intellectual property
The app and its original software, visual design, text, graphics, branding and other materials are owned by or licensed to the publisher and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. You may use the app under the limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission granted by these terms and any applicable App Store terms. You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works from our materials except where the law permits or we authorise it in writing.

5. Apple App Store terms
If you obtained the app through Apple’s App Store, your use is also subject to the terms applicable to your Apple account and device. These terms are between you and the app publisher, not Apple. To the extent applicable, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the relevant end-user licence terms and may enforce them. Apple is not responsible for the app or its maintenance or support. Any App Store purchase or refund is handled under Apple’s applicable terms and processes.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or discontinue all or part of the app, including to maintain security, comply with law or improve the service. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes where appropriate. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Where the law permits us to limit a remedy for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by that law. The app is supplied for general personal use and is not a substitute for checking expense calculations and payment arrangements yourself.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your failure to check information you enter or calculations displayed by the app, or from your separate arrangements with other users. Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time and remove it from your device. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the app or our systems, address misuse, or comply with law. Any terms that by their nature continue after use ends will continue to apply.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Please read it before using the app.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
